Premier League stars and their luxurious cars

From Lamborghinis and Bentleys to Rolls Royce and Mercedes Benz, English football’s star players own some of the most luxurious brands of automobiles.

In today’s world of the beautiful game, football stars are paid heavy wages on a weekly basis. Some of them cost more than what an entire team used to be worth 10-12 years back! Ever-swelling transfer fees and salary hikes enabled key players from the world’s most competitive football league to own cars that most of us can only ever dream of.

Let us go under the bonnet and list down some truly elite rides belonging to these elite players.

LaFerrari (Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang)

When it comes to expensive automobiles, Arsenal star Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang, famous for his scoring sprees in the Premier League, is also known for his car collection.

The £2M La Ferrari tops that list. This is by far the Arsenal striker’s most expensive car, and what makes the stunning automobile even more special is that it is one of only 499 cars produced by the Maranello-based company. Capable of a top speed of 217mph, the car’s real speciality lies in the DNA it shares with the storied marque’s potent Formula 1 machines.

The Black Badge (Paul Pogba)

Paul Pogba has been the talk of Manchester ever since his arrival from Juventus for a then world record signing of £89M. Since then, he’s developed a taste for the finer things in life, and one of them is a Rolls Royce Black Badge. Part of his total car collection £1.6M, it is truly the last word in British automobile engineering.

Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster (Ederson Santana de Moraes)

Ederson Santana de Moraes, Manchester City’s first team goalkeeper, is known best for stopping power when it comes to the opposition’s goals.

Mercedes G Wagon (Kevin De Bruyne)

Kevin De Bruyne’s choice in cars is a reflection to his performance on the field – stoic and rock-solid. The Man City midfielder is known to perform his moves on the pitch skillfully as well as stylishly, with close to perfect execution.

His red Mercedes Benz G-Class, or the G Wagon, is also known for its sleek design and does him enough justice when it hits the road. Worth every bit of the £91,000 asking price, wouldn’t you agree?

Range Rover Sport SVR (Luke Shaw)

Some footballers prefer to keep their life simple and shy away from spending big money on lifestyle. Manchester United left back Luke Shaw is one of them but his choice in cars has been a popular one among his peers of late.

The defender’s Range Rover Sport SVR has become a top preference amongst Premier League stars. The muscular 4×4 SUV vehicle costs £100,000 and is also owned by Shaw’s teammates, including Phil Jones, Jessie Lingard and Andreas Pereira.
